Today's afternoon adventure was dissecting Owl Pellets. Owl's are fascinating creatures and they regurgitate their prey which is a fancy word for throwing it up. Today the kids opened up the pellets and identified which creature they thought they had and used the skeletal diagram to glue the bones together. Oh what fun we had. Some people got frustrated but weren't allowed to give up while others were super fascinated. It was easy to pick out my future scientist in the classroom. It was a fun project, come by Hoffmanville and see them hanging in the hallway.
