We had a very special visitor today. First we read all about the Texas Horned Lizard, then Mrs. Hoffman surprised us with this really cool prehistoric looking creature. We didn't get to touch him, just Mrs. Hoffman, because it wouldn't be good to touch him unless we all washed our hands. We learned that this little guy is fairly friendly. He's camouflaged, he's spiky and his belly is really soft. He's also our state Reptile. Lots of people mistake him for a toad or a frog, because of his little belly. Enjoy the photos!!!
